Alucobond Alucobond is a composite panel consisting of two aluminium cover sheets and a plastic or high mineral filled core. Applied on a façade, alucobond creates a modern and aesthetic look in the urban environment. It perfectly satisfies all safety requirements and has excellent acoustic qualities.
|
The system advantages:
-
Fire resistance. Non-flammable layers of aluminium protect the core. Alucobond is produced in various versions, in order to satisfy various countries' fire regulations. According to Polish Standard PN-93/B-02862 alucobond conforms to Class B2.
-
Durability. Resilience to severe weather conditions is achieved through special layer called PVDF. Alucobond is stiff, hard and resistant to bending and buckling.
-
Acoustics. Through its ability to absorb vibrations, alucobond does not require any other sound-absorbing layers. The average sound absorption coefficient according to EN 20354 (ISO 354) is 0.05 for all panel thicknesses.
-
Economy. The lightness, stiffness and a smooth surface lead to low construction costs for alucobond and other associated components.
-
Environmentally friendly. Neither during the production process nor as a finished product, does alucobond emit Freon compounds. The Polyethylene core of the panels do not contain any nitrogen compounds, chlorine, or sulphur. Furthermore, alucobond is fully recyclable. Both the polyethylene core and the outside aluminium layers can be melted and recycled to produce new materials.
-
Widely applicable.A wide range of colours, thousands of shape possibilities and fast assembly make alucobond very versatile. Modern aluminium panels are used on public buildings (underground stations, railway stations, institutes, hospitals, etc.), commercial buildings, apartment buildings, shopping centres, production halls and also modern interiors.
